ARGUMENTS IN FAVOR OF DARKNESS

What we look at and who looks at us; the hypertrophy of information that ultimately brings all seeing to an end; light that dazzles us. The dissolution of reality through its interpretations, concealing the fact that reality is no longer reality but mere appearance. Created for the unconventional space of the CETC (Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón), 2007 season.

This work, which completes the trilogy that began with Tierra de Mandelbrot and continued with Plano difuso, uses a scenic device that generates two works in one through the use of multimedia tools.

ARGUMENTS IN FAVOR OF DARKNESS participated in the 5th Buenos Aires Contemporary Dance Festival, after having been part of the program of FID ’08 (Fórum Internacional de Dança de Belo Horizonte) and the Panorama Festival in Rio de Janeiro. Co-produced with the CETC, it received funding from PRODANZA and the Fondo Metropolitano de las Artes y las Ciencias, as well as support from the Secretaría de Extensión Universitaria – IUNA.
